Welcome to the Sherwood tour diary documenting their ongoing headlining tour. Read part three below, parts one and two here, and click here to see the remaining tour dates. Welcome to the 3rd and best Sherwood tour blog to date! :) Come on in and take a look inside... We've finally made it out to the East Coast! Quite the week of Hello's and Goodbye's. Our friends in The Matches left us on Saturday in Houston, Texas, to fly out for their next tour in Australia. We had such a great time playing and hanging out with them on this tour. We will miss them very much! It was a sold-out show at Java Jazz, despite a massive tornado warning! ![]() (David and Monaca, merchandise fairy for The Matches) ![]() (goodbye-group photo) ![]() The show was full of happy people and bright colors... ![]() One of the highlights of the show is here below, when Mikey, our keyboardist decided to, once again, exercise his acrobatic skills on stage! :) ![]() Louisiana here we come! Not sure what this means but uhh.... this was across the street from the venue: ![]() Here are some great photos on our day-off in Pensacola Beach. It was very relaxing and a lot of fun getting to walk the beach and throw the frisbee around for a bit... ![]() And play in the sand... ![]() We managed to catch an amazing sunset... ![]() The second half of the week was spent in sunny Florida. Plenty of beach time and warmth. This was probably our first time ever in Florida without haven't to battle the humidity. ![]() ![]() Houston Calls joined us on Tuesday in Jacksonville, Florida and we are excited to have them for the second part of this tour. ![]() Sherwood loves shopping carts. Ok, only for necessary reasons. But tour wouldn't be tour without late night stops to stock up supplies at Walmart and Target. ![]() Mikey bought too many groceries one night and had to push his shopping cart half a mile to the venue and then return it back to Whole Foods. ![]() One hobby we have taken up on this tour is knitting! Beanies and scarves and other necessary winter wear. It passes the time while driving and keeps our fingers occupied. Idle hands are the devils playground... ![]() It has been another great week on the Salty Seas and Starry Nights tour. From Mikey and Dave & Team Sherwood! ![]()
